Reliefs

Rozhon's new pieces represent a continuation of the sculptural direction she's been pursuing since becoming a full-time professional artist in 1985. This newest work employs a lower relief modality which allows for further exploration of the tension created between the paint or encaustic and the three-dimensional surface. The rough outer edges contribute to the sensation of memory salvaged and give them a desired theatricality.
